KBVF Holds Inauguration of 9th President Oh Chang-hee and First Board Meeting

On March 24, 2025, the Korea Beach Volleyball Federation held the official inauguration ceremony for its new President, Oh Chang-hee, together with its first board meeting. At the ceremony, President Oh expressed his strong commitment to the development and broader reach of beach volleyball in Korea and announced five key pledges: first, fostering professional beach volleyball teams by establishing teams across eight regions nationwide; second, expanding and energizing the sport's base by hosting six or more domestic tournaments each year; third, entering beach volleyball — an Asian Games and Olympic medal sport — as a demonstration event at the National Sports Festival; fourth, challenging for Asian Games and Olympic medals by identifying and developing talented youth players early; and fifth, strengthening financial soundness through beach volleyball marketing.
